After a 3 week hiatus, the RIP Info Centre has been updated with 40 new
stories (with annotated excerpts).
The formal consultation on the Code of Practice for Pt.I Ch.I (interception)
began on Monday. The Home Office say that implementation of Pt.I Ch.II
(traffic data) will be delayed until April 2001, and implementation of
Part.III (decryption notices) will be delayed a year.
Suggestions and corrections always welcome - and if you would like to
volunteer to help maintain the site (or contribute in other ways) please
e-mail RIPmaster@fipr.org
