That is looking at things from the viewpoint of the supplier. From 
the viewpoint of the customer they have more than one supplier that 
they deal with.

So now the customer has to have 1001 cipher systems installed on 
their computer. One from the gas board, one from the water Quago, one 
from Mr Murdoch and so on. I wonder how well they would all work 
together and how much disc space they would take up?
