Why not use a honey pot and get facts while you're at it?
Mind you, it takes great care and careful design...
Nowadays they're likely a bit more careful, but not too long
ago it didn't take much to get an NSA "sympathizer" to e-mail
you and trying to find out just what kind of person you are.
The thing that amazes me most, however, is how the Americans seem
to take everything at face value. Ref: The recent news story about
a kid claiming on IRC he'd done the recent DDOS attacks, and FBI
raiding his house because of it. They don't use any reason or proper
judgement whatsoever before jumping to the gun and shooting people.
The same goes to the secret service & co.
Reverse-engineering their capabilities and doings should be easy,
knowing this.
Anyone own a holiday resort that they want to get more traffic in? :-)
