Seriously, though, we did get some useful feedback (insight, even) from the
DTI through Nigel and/or David Hendon when we were discussing the EC bill.
There was even some evidence to suggest they were taking notice of what was
being said on the list. As far as I can discern, there has been no such
contribution from the Home Office during this discussion of the RIP bill.

I should be delighted to be proved wrong.
