I can also see many ways in which Zero Knowledge Systems can use this 
legislation as a tool to sell Freedom [http://www.freedom.net/] (anonymous,
secure IP communication) to every single technology company in the EU.

Do the responsible Eurocrats have one brain cell between them? How on EARTH do 
they think they can constrain the transfer of information in a world of PGP 
and IPSEC? Were they desperate to try and snatch the Observer's crown for
"worst piece of legislation" from RIP?
