Yet another case of a guilty person who was not found innocent just the
LEA where not 'nice' to them.
Surely any payment to a criminal in connection with a crime is an offence
? Something to do with profiting from criminal acts.
As for the new HR proposals they smack, sorry not allowed to do that any
more, of social engineering rather than justice. It could be that the
continental system requires a law to spell out in detail each possible
scenario and not be open to inerpretation but it results in a very
inflexible and soon outdated instrument.
