I submitted a question that went roughly as follows (this is not exact -
maybe the BBC can report the exact version):
------------------------------------------------------------------------
This legislation will be enormously costly for UK taxpayers
and for UK based Internet Service Providers. For a small
fraction of the costs of this Bill we could hire more than 100
experts to support UK law enforcement authorities in the
pusuit of criminals and paedophiles who use the Internet.
In my view such a strategy would be much less costly and
infinitely more effective in tackling criminal use of the Internet
and hence promoting the safety and security of UK citizens
and businesses in cyberspace.
Please explain why you disagree with my view.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
He either was not given this question or he chose not to answer it - I don't
know which.
My apologies - this is a repeat of an earlier message with a small edit.
