Such as, hypothetically, a list of people who risked their personal
safety by giving evidence to a murder enquiry?  Yeah, the Home Office
know how to protect that sort of information: post it to a web site.

Such as granting their mates Kim and Donald full access, because chaps
who went to University with a chap can be trusted, not like all the
communists there are around amongst the working classes these days.

Or perhaps by carefully vetting trusting worthy people, because a chap
who has been vetted by our chaps, like Mister Shaylor and Mister Prine,
with their colonial cousin Mister Ames, can be trusted implicitly.

I archive old mail by burning a CD-R containing a tar archive encrypted
with PGP.  That's secure for all practical purposes.  Plain Text with
the LEA is essentially public, as those organisations leak like sieves.
