I am in the process of working my course notes up into a book, to be
published in January by Wiley. Its working title is `Security
Engineering - A Comprehensive Guide to Building Dependable Distributed
Systems'. It will have about two dozen chapters (15 written so far) on
subjects like access control, crypto, protocols, tamper resistance,
e-commerce, copyright protection and if I can find the time :-) crypto
policy.

My second and third year lecture notes make up about a dozen of the
chapters - though they are rather old and I've had to upgrade them and
extend them considerably. But they'll do as a taster
