Government spins over "Sealand"

I see from the Guardian today that the Home Office
is playing fast and loose with the facts by trying
to pretend "Sealand" is under the juristiction of the
United Kingdom in spite of the 1968 court ruling
recognising it to be outside the country's territory,
and the provisions of international law that prevent
territorial gerrymandering achieved by extended the
boundries of claimed territory, as HMG did in 1987 by
extending the in-short waters from 3 to 12 nautical
miles off the coast (conveniently taking in "Sealand").
