So that's why I didn't have any luck applying for a job there! :-)
But why on earth do you need a clearance to work for the BBC? I can
imagine that it is nowadays, with `information warfare' defined as
``operations that target or exploit information media in order to
win some advantage over an adversary'' and Alastair Campbell going
over to Brussels to tell NATO how to run things in Kosovo - but back
in the days before New Labour came to power???
