I've used www.operamail.com. Note that you need to select a secure
session each time before you logon or it will default to plaintext.

Also, I've no idea whether the people who operate operamail are
trustworthy. It could be the KGB for all I know.

Where secure webmail could be really useful is that professionals such
as doctors and lawyers could mount it on their web sites and use it to
communicate with clients. In the medical case, as the majority of
email messages are likely to be repeat prescriptions, the ability to
use forms is a decided plus.
