I wouldn't be surprised.

On Friday they ran a story about the American missile test and
the 'three golfballs' radar station at RAF Fylingdales, complete
with pictures of same.

These radars were replaced by a new one, constructed as a
truncated pyramid at the same site, in 1992. The golfballs were
then demolished. 

The BBC hack's info about Fylingdales was therefore at least
eight years out of date.
