In an amusing bit on Radio 4 Today this am, Charles Clark passed by,
rather quickly, a comment from his interviewer about police marching
young drunks up to a cash machine only to be told 'I've forgotten my
key' It was described as a proposal too ridiculous for serious comment.
People understand pin numbers.
Perhaps if Mr Blair had also suggested that the policemen could serve a
notice on the drunk requiring his permanent silence about the whole
affair, the public would properly understand the truly gross and obscene
nature of RIP.
Perhaps Blair could also confirm that if his son had been arrested near
a railway station a day or two before a football match, the same officer
could also withdraw young B's passport.
