The Home Office will be releasing the Consultation Paper on the review of
the Interception of Communications Act today from 3:30pm, following a
written answer from Jack Straw in Parliament.

The paper may cover issues arising from interception of the Internet,
including obligations on Internet Service Providers, admissibility of
evidence, procedure for warranting, compliance with the European Convention
on Human Rights, and oversight and accountability safeguards.

Accredited journalists may view the paper from 2:30pm (Press Office 0171 273
4610) at the Home Office.
