UK readers should take a look at yesterday's Sunday Times magazine
(unfortunately not on the Web) for a very good reason to take steps to reduce
the impact of recovery processes. Boeing is now facing a multi-billion dollar
lawsuit over aircraft faults, after a long and drawn out discovery procedure.

And we all know some of the juicy stuff the Department of Justice found in
recovered Microsoft e-mail, like:

"My conclusion is that we must leverage Windows more. Treating [Explorer] as
just an add-on to Windows, which is cross-platform, [is] losing our biggest
advantage -- Windows market share." --Jim Allchin, VP M$ Personal and Business
Systems Group
