Which reminds me of a wonderful piece of bollox(tm) by my MP (George
Young) when I wrote to him about some other piece of blatant
civil-liberty-infringing piece of legislation (trespass, I seem to
remember). He replied "law-abiding citizens have nothing to fear". Wow!
Thanks, George! So, let me get this straight - if I obey the law, you
won't prosecute, right? That's a load off my mind.

He was also kind enough to reply to a number of points I hadn't raised.
Nothing to do with the Charter '88 campaign going on at the time, of
course.
