DTI Policy Response

My initial response to the DTI policy announced yesterday is up on my Web

I emphasise that this is very much a first response and will be subject to
revision.

In short the policy is very disappointing given what we have a right to
expect from the pre-election position of the Labour Party.

They have allowed parochial and unsubstantiated arguments to sway are
carefully researched and well articulated pre-election policy.
