All of which is typical of Joe McCarthy and his progenuy. He roamed the
states holding up a piece of paper, long piece of paper, claiming "I
have here a list of communists in the State Dept." No one ever saw the
list or was able to document that it really existed other than a piece
of paper he could have picked up from anywhere and could have had
anything on it (speculation was that what was on it was rather b rown
and blobby).
