They are currently looking to hire a Manager for Medical Writing.
Location: Vancouver, British Columbia CANADA
Job Category: Clinical Affairs
Job Description:
Reporting to the senior VP, Clinical and Regulatory Affairs, you will be
responsible for all Medical Writing projects within the company. This
will
include the management and direction of both internal resources and
external
CRO's. You will be responsible for coordinating, writing and editing
clinical documents to include, but not exclusive to clinical trial
reports,
integrated summaries, investigator brochures and medical journal
publications. You will interact with each group in the Clinical Affairs
group extracting the relevant information and acting as a technical
resource
on a variety of technical project teams. In the short term you will
play a
pivotal role in our first New Drug Application scheduled for early 2003.
General Skills Description:
You will have a Bachelors or Masters degree in a science discipline with
at
least 5 years experience of Medical Writing in a pharmaceutical context.
You will of course have excellent writing skills, complemented by strong
project management and leadership abilities. You will have a sound
knowledge of GCP and ICH guidelines, and full comfort with scientific
and
medical terminology.
