Tex and Latex on RISC OS

Hi folks,

I've joined this list because I am trying to find out what the current
state of play is with regards to Tec and Latex on RISC OS.

I have just generated a Tex file from TechWriter (I have the most up to
date version). This I can view on RISC OS using the application !DVI to
convert it to a dvi file. This same dvi file renders fine on a windows
wachine using something called YAP.

However when I emailed the original Tex file to a friend he could not get
in and edit it.
I suspect this is because he actually wants a Latex file.

Can TechWriter Tex files be viewed using Windows ?
(If so, what package do I use ? )

How do I provide him with a Latex file that he can edit ?
(I'm hoping I can convert the Tex file to a Latex one)
