Hopefully the beer sponsorship give us a little leeway, but if people feel strongly that we shouldn't do this from time to time then please let me know. :) We're looking for a full-time employee or contractor to take care of project build/integration for a project working on a Glib/Gtk+/GNOME based consumer electronics device. They need to be familiar with Debian packaging, general knowledge of how Linux systems are put together, Perl/Python/Shell scripting, diagnosing/fixing build failures and chasing errant developers who broke stuff. They would be responsible for pre-integrating our work, building and smoke-testing images, liasing with testers, submitting stuff to our client's integration system and also bits of C/Glib/GNOME development & bugfixing as time permits. Due to our client's requirements this position must be be on-site in our offices in Cambridge (UK :D). If you're interested in this (and we have some other positions for C++/Qt and C/Glib/GNOME development for mobile devices as well) then please drop me a mail, XMPP (same as my e-mail) or find me on IRC (Robot101 on FreeNode and OFTC). Message-ID: <20091013162423.GA20525@codelibre.net> Hi folks, I generated a new key a few months back to replace my old and crusty 1024 bit ElGamal/DSA key with a stronger 4096-bit RSA key (0x609C12C3, fpr 3E62 B110 B4A8 3974 9E6E 38D8 432F FA4E 609C 12C3). I've been quite busy with work and not made it to any conferences or meetings this year, so haven't yet been able to get it signed by any other Debian people. If there's anyone around in York or neighbouring areas who would like to meet up for some keysigning, that would be great. I can probably make it as far as Sheffield/ Manchester/Newcastle at weekends. I know mhy and sgran are around the University--if you'd like to meet up at lunchtime some day, that would also be great. I'm currently a bit too busy to make it out to the pub, though it might be possible at the weekend sometime. Just as a matter of policy, is it acceptable to re-sign all of the keys I signed with my old key with my new key? I obviously already verified them the first time, but is there anything unobvious I've missed that would preclude re-signing them? I should hopefully be back from [VAC] due to moving house later in the week when I (finally) get ADSL working back home, so I can actually do some work again. Being offline for a month has been a trifle annoying, though I have used the time to write a userspace NFSv4 ACL implementation mapping onto Linux POSIX.1e draft ACLs using libacl. My sister moved to Manchester a few weeks back, and there's a possibility I might come to visit her this coming Saturday or next. If there's anyone around who would be free to meet up during the day somewhere, that would be great. I'll just need to check which weekend I'll be visiting later on tonight. Regards, Roger -- .''`.
