[Debian-uk] Did the UK mirror (ftp.uk.debian.org) go backwards yesterday?

For me, it downloaded all the pdiffs, then tried to update nearly 400 MiB
of packages with their experimental versions.  A second update retrieved
the whole Packages file, and it now seems to be almost sane again.
While apt-get worked reasonably, aptitude upgrade went into a
"Resolving dependencies..." infinite loop and needed to be killed.
