I went in to TT at the weekend and spoke to Jen, who (as always) was
very helpful. We've got quite a few people asking for embroiderered
things, more than prints. Embroiderered items will come at a base
price which depends on the *total* number of items using the same
pattern, even if they're different items such as polo shirts and
jackets. Likely price bands are 24-49 or 50-99. All the cost prices
I'm listing here include VAT, and are per item. If we want something
embroiderered on the front and printed on the back, the back print
will cost something like GBP 1-2 or so extra (again, depends on the
total number).
> * Debian jacket (waterproof?)
KB647 was suggested, with a print. That's problematic - screen print
doesn't work at all well on nylon, I'm told. Maybe embroidery on the
breast could work. Prices for that:
24-49: GBP 17.27
50-99: GBP 15.46
> * long-sleeved rugby shirts (CN40/FR1)
FR1 recommended. Prices (embroidered with swirl):=20
24-49: GBP 20.83 (men's) GBP 19.83 (fitted women's, FR77)
50-99: GBP 18.86 (men's) GBP 18.36 (fitted women's, FR77)
> * sweat shirts (O12M/H804)
Both good, H804 more common now. Prices with embroidery:
24-99: GBP 18.92
50-99: GBP 17.98
H804 (zipped sweatshirt) with embroidery:
24-99: GBP 16.04
50-99: GBP 15.10
> * smart shirts (PR200)
Embroidery on the pocket will end up closing up the pocket, I'm
warned.=20
24-49: GBP 16.03
50-99: GBP 14.22
> * polo shirts (SS4) (I normally get K405, would they do OK?)
Gah, missed these and forgot to get a price. Expect roughly(!) GBP 12
for 24-49, maybe GBP 11 for 50+.
> * larger-sized Ts (SA101,SS6,K500,GD02,GD05) in black
The GD05 is what they'd normally recommend - Gildan Ts are generously
sized (large for the size, and will go up to 3XL), good quality. Price
with normal 2-colour classic swirl print:
24-49: GBP 7.11
50-99: GBP 5.35
> * KB915 sleeveless fleece
With embroidery on the front:
24-49: GBP 20.40
50-99: GBP 19.22
> * LV335 hoodie
With embroidery on the front:=20
24-49: GBP 21.11
50-99: GBP 19.94
> * fairtrade Ts
OK10 O'karma fairtrade Ts, very good quality. Taking quite a lot of
business these days, apparently. We could do screen print as normal:
24-49: GBP 9.74
50-99: GBP 8.69
or a cute thing I'd quite like for myself is one of these in
"natural", with embroidery:
24-49: GBP 12.44
50-99: GBP 10.63
> * black-on-black Ts
Will come out at normal T prices, maybe slightly cheaper with only a
single colour print.
I'm also going to be ordering a range of the normal T designs: "When
It's Ready", "Good Things", swirl (in several colours), polos (by
default in just red-on-black) which will boost the numbers on the
order anyway, making embroidery and swirl prints cheaper.
If you'd like something on the specials list, please get back to me
ASAP so we can put the order in soon. A couple of the TT shop staff
are away on holiday from Friday, so I'd love to get the orders in
before then so we can agree a total price for the order. If you want
anything special, I'll need:
* size
* colour
* number
* style (where applicable)
by Friday, noon at the latest ideally. I won't be ordering special
items on spec., just to order. I'll pass them on at cost, but I'll
expect the money to come in immediately.
OK? Let me know...
