Cool. I've decided that I definitely can't afford the time for Debcamp
too, so I'm going to head out just for Debconf. Given that, the best
price I can find is GBP 780.70[1], flying:
Outbound:
Aerolineas Argentinas
AR1123, AR1131 (LGW->MAD->EZE)
(Operated by Air Plus Comet) Departs: Sat 09 Aug 08 10:20
Arrives: Sat 09 Aug 08 22:55
Inbound:
Air Comet
A72136, A70230 (EZE->MAD->LGW)
(Operated by Aerolineas Argentinas) Departs: Sun 17 Aug 08 14:20
Arrives: Mon 18 Aug 08 09:20
That's the best price I can find, with a couple of slightly different
time options for a little more (differing flights on Fri 8th, for
example). After that, next best option is with Air Canada via Canada
which takes approximately *forever*. I echo Neil in that I'd like to
book sooner rather than later before prices go up much more.
Maybe we'll end up with 2 groups flying. I'd suggest if you'd like to
travel in a group at all then you should add yourself to the wiki
page[2] NOW! I'm going to book my flight by next weekend, latest.
