I have in fact booked, because I found a cheap flight from Gatwick via
Madrid. It's on 2nd August, but I'm betting the setup day will be boring
anyway. ;) I'm coming back overnight on Sunday 17th.

Depart London Gatwick: 17:40 - Saturday, 2nd August
Arrive Madrid:         20:55
Depart Madrid:         22:05
Arrive Buenos Aires:   05:30 - Sunday, 3rd August=20

Depart Buenos Aires:   14:20 - Sunday, 17th August
Arrive Madrid:         07:00 - Monday, 18th August
Depart Madrid:         08:00
Arrive London Gatwick: 09:20

The interesting bit will be getting from EZE to Mar Del Plata, I
imagine...
