From steve at einval.com Tue Feb 19 00:18:01 2008 From: steve at einval.com (Steve McIntyre) Date: Tue, 19 Feb 2008 00:18:01 +0000 Subject: [Debian-uk] Debconf 8 travel Message-ID: <20080219001801.GH10800@einval.com> Hi folks, I'm planning on going to Argentina for Debconf. This won't be a shock to many, I know... :-) Anybody else fancy travelling together as a group? I'm happy enough to book flights for a reasonable-sized group if we can match up on travel dates. I'm *not* going to be there for Debcamp, just Debconf itself, so I'm looking at flying out to .ar on the 9th of August and flying back on the 17th. Best price I can find for flights so far is GBP 706 inclusive per person. I am planning to go for both, provided I manage to join enough Debian teams in the next few months to justify it. :) And I suppose I need to think about plane tickets soon. -- Tim Retout From steve at einval.com Tue Feb 26 23:27:58 2008 From: steve at einval.com (Steve McIntyre) Date: Tue, 26 Feb 2008 23:27:58 +0000 Subject: [Debian-uk] Debconf 8 travel In-Reply-To: <1204041913.5338.13.camel@carroll.rugby.credativ.ltd.uk> References: <20080219001801.GH10800@einval.com> <1203413421.15650.3.camel@holly.codehelp> <1204041913.5338.13.camel@carroll.rugby.credativ.ltd.uk> Message-ID: <20080226232758.GH2756@einval.com> On Tue, Feb 26, 2008 at 04:05:13PM +0000, Tim Retout wrote: >On Tue, 2008-02-19 at 09:30 +0000, Neil Williams wrote: >> On Tue, 2008-02-19 at 00:18 +0000, Steve McIntyre wrote: >> > Anybody else fancy travelling together as a group? I'd suggest you put your details in the wiki page anyway, with your preferred dates. I'm still reasonably flexible yet myself and Phil was twisting my arm at FOSDEM about doing Debcamp too already... :-) -- Steve McIntyre, Cambridge, UK. steve@einval.com < sladen> I actually stayed in a hotel and arrived to find a post-it note stuck to the mini-bar saying "Paul: This fridge and fittings are the correct way around and do not need altering" From pm at debian.org Fri Feb 29 11:47:40 2008 From: pm at debian.org (Paul Martin) Date: Fri, 29 Feb 2008 11:47:40 +0000 Subject: [Debian-uk] Debian UK AGM 2007 video Message-ID: <20080229114740.GA21147@nowster.org.uk> Ogg Theora format (22MB): http://www.zetnet.co.uk/~pm/debian/debianuk2007.ogv -- Paul Martin
