Greetings to all of our fantastic exhibitors :)
You're receiving this email because you have agreed to be part of the
exhibition are at LUG Radio Live 2007. That's great :)
Ok, so here's the deal:
Optionally arrive Friday night and meet everyone for beers in
Wolverhampton. You'll need accommodation for the weekend anyway. The
venue is The Hogs Head pub in Wolverhampton city centre:
http://www.google.co.uk/maps?f=l&=&q=hogshead&near=wv1&btnG=Search+Businesses
People meet from around 8pm onwards. It's on the corner of Stafford
Street and Broad Street.
Arrive at the venue, The Light House, Saturday morning around 8am. Ugh.
Rough yes, but I'll be there earlier than that :(
Directions:
http://www.lugradio.org/live/2007/index.php/Travel_Information
You can call me on 07761 153100 should you get lost on the day or when
trying to find the Hogs Head on Friday night.
We have someone doing exhibitor liaison so you should ask for Dave
Morley when you arrive and you'll be given an exhibitors badge.
Set up your stand in good time as the doors will open at 10:30am. There
will be lots of people charging around trying to get things done so it
will take a while.
Take a look at:
http://www.lugradio.org/live/2007/schedule.html
to see how the days will be arranged. People will be returning to their
accommodation around 6-6:30pm during which time you need to pack your
stand down in preparation for the evening's festivities as the same
venue will be hosting a LRL party on Saturday night to which you are
invited of course.
Arrive around the same time Sunday morning to put your stand back up,
maybe a little later as you will know what you're doing from the
previous day. The rest of the day will be as per the schedule. Pack down
afterwards.
You can either then hang around and meet the hardcore of us at one of
the hotels, I think it's the Quality Inn, aka Quality Chin as per the
map; or you can say farewell and head home exhausted knowing that you
had a great weekend, met some fantastic people and did your product or
project justice.
As an exhibitor, you will be given a table in the exhibition area and
should bring with you whatever you wish to show off to show the legion
of smelly Linux geeks who will be browsing your stand. It would be a
good idea to bring some stuff with you to show off along with stickers,
books, reading material, whatever you like. The tables are the size of a
pasting table, you may be able to take up more space if it's available.
Power will be available but as always, I recommend bringing enough power
extensions and multi-plug boards with you to power your stand.
I think that's about it :) Get back in touch if I've missed anything
important.
Should you not be able to make it to the event after all, please let us
know as soon as possible on this email address.
We look forward to seeing you on the 7th and 8th for a great weekend!
Regards,
Adam Sweet - LUG Radio.

Getting a SCSI chain working is perfectly simple if you remember that there
must be exactly three terminations: one on one end of the cable, one on the
far end, and the goat, terminated over the SCSI chain with a silver-handled
knife whilst burning *black* candles. --- Anthony DeBoer
