Didn't Sonicwall start out with a similar "all in one" type product
early on in their business life? Not as sophisticated, but then it was a
while ago. The website suggests the have become a specialist security
company, or perhaps I'm confusing them with some other company?

It was a firewall, come server. Bad combination in many ways, but I
guess done right, with a big "not this Ethernet port", it could be
manageable.
