Hi,

I hope everyone that turned up had fun.  I certainly did :-)

I have a pile of cash in front of me, that adds up to: =A32079.50

After adding up all the value of the stock that we need to pay for, I
came up with an initial estimate of =A31260.00 (it's an estimate because I
need to confirm whether the Tshirt prices include VAT or not).

I have a feeling that the float still owes some people (me for instance)
the money we put in at the start --- Charles, do you still have that
piece of paper?

So it looks like we made in the region of 800 quid --- I'll publish my
calculations (so someone can tell me that I've totally forgotten some
expense or other) once I get definite T-Shirt prices, and sort out where
the spare T-Shirts are going to end up)

I get the impression that some people think we should spend the profit
on a SCSI setup for open, which I'm willing to go along with. (is that
the faint sound of cheering I hear?)

Of course, we might want to wait just a little while to see if anything
comes of a rather encouraging chat I had with the folks at HP, where it
seems like they might seriously consider giving us a server.  I'm not
holding my breath, but it would be bloody irritating to get offered a
server just after buying a lot of SCSI disks.
