Thanks for this.

There is also #539352 which relates to adding support to initscripts. You will
see I have merged it with #572733, #601757, #748291, #768919, #769494 and
#968425. They all relate to mounting various kernel filesystems. I am working on
a generic and configurable interface to support them all and any others in the
future. However, it will be for forky cycle as we are into the freeze process.
