Dear Maintainer,

The recent upload of git 2.47.1-1 removed the git-daemon-sysvinit
package which contained the glue to run git-daemon from sysvinit. The
git-daemon binary itself is shipped into the regular git package so
all thats needed is the init script.

Please consider adopting that script in your package.
