A good choice! :-)
It's probably worth adding the version of your runit packages to this
bug report because a new version arrived in trixie TODAY with major
changes (2.1.2-61)!
dpkg -l 'runit*'
Also a lot of integrations, including elogind and dbus are in the
runit-services package and the latest version of that is stuck in
'unstable' and hasn't migrated to trixie ('testing') yet. It may be that
the runit maintainer would advise you to pick that package up from
'unstable'.
