This package has a direct Depends and Build-Depends on the dbus package.
This could be a larger dependency than it really needs, and could
interfere with use of the dbus-broker package as a system bus.

For details of how to replace this dependency, please see:
https://salsa.debian.org/utopia-team/dbus/-/blob/debian/unstable/debian/replacing-dbus-dependency.txt?ref_type=heads

If the intention of this dependency is "this package needs a working
D-Bus system bus, whatever implementation Debian prefers at the moment",
consider replacing the runtime Depends on dbus with:
default-dbus-system-bus | dbus-system-bus

For the Build-Depends, if it's using dbus-run-session(1) or invoking
dbus-daemon(1) directly, then a dependency on dbus-daemon is likely to
be sufficient.

Or if elogind specifically needs the reference implementation of D-Bus
and cannot work with other implementations, it's OK to close this bug as
"won't fix" (I know it's part of the not-systemd ecosystem so it might
have special requirements).
