Thanks for finding this.
Seems to be best to engage with upstream then.
Will need some time. Holding a course with 10 people still. Also the
amount of breakage in Debian/Devuan and Linux kernel is more than I had in
a very long time, if ever.
Kernel 6.7.9 has working hibernation. 6.7.11 fails hibernation with a work
queue related error. 6.7.12 fails hibernation with the same error than
6.8.1 and 6.8.4 fail hibernation. Then all that time_t 64 stuff. And then
elogind 2.55 on top. Hibernation is also broken now, even with kernel
6.7.9 that worked before.
Currently I would have wished to run on Devuan Daedalus instead of Ceres
:). At least I now understand the impact of logind on desktop todays
environments.
Hope things will settle to a calmer pace soon enough.
