Hi,

not for me, but someone saw https://serverfault.com/q/832540/189656
and was asking whether one can run a normal Debian systemd-using
system without journald, i.e. with only classical syslog and the
applications log directly to the syslog dæmon in question (rsyslogd,
syslog-ng, or even my favourite inetutils-syslogd)?

bye,

<igli> just about the worst way you could do something like that, afaic.
<igli> it's like anti-design. <mirabilos> that too… may I quote you on that?
<igli> sure, tho i doubt anyone will listen ;)
