Testing SysV init 3.06 before release

Thank you for pointing this out. The duplicate been removed. I also made
a minor fix to the pidof symbolic link during the install process to
better handle staging during the build process.

I think this covers all the outstanding bugs. I'm going to give it about
a week and then publish a final 3.06 release.
