RAMTMP is already documented in both /etc/default/tmpfs and the tmpfs(5)
man page.
I think those configuration knobs are interesting in that they
are easily-found, self-documenting suggestions for system tuning,
customization and good practices that curious admins might not have
thought of otherwise, if it was just left to putting whatever in
/etc/fstab.
In fact RAMTMP is perhaps the most important item in /etc/default/tmpfs,
because there are both strong pros and cons and it's really up to the
admin's choice and the use case for the system.
