elogind is not supposed to work with task-mate-desktop (mate-desktop-
environment):
In ACSII you have five desktop environments:
xfce, mate: consolekit
cinnamon, kde, lxqt: elogind

The first two works with consolekit, while the three other works with elogind.
All these desktops were thoroughly tested before the release of ASCII.
