I looked at this. I see that some upstream somewhere have added a git
submodule. git submodules are just absolutely awful. Urgh. I had to
strip the submodule out of the git upstream history and add
+nosubmodule to the upstream version to stop my tools from
malfunctioning. The results of me doing that are here:
  https://git.devuan.org/diziet/elogind/commits/debian-wip

Anyway, having done that so I could read it, I reviewed the packaging
and the patches and so on. It looks good to me. I built it.
lintian liked it.

I see no reason not to upload this package to Debian. Specifically, I
mean ab61aacabb2e75f5d2ca447b4d597e909c5e2ba4.

Does anyone object to my git submodule surgery? The lintian warnings
about manpage wrapping are not important, I think.

Ian.
