fwiw, I'd be fine if /etc/init.d/skeleton was dropped completely given
there is a init-d-script man page with a ready to use example that can
be copy&pasted easily.

There is some inconsistency though regarding the shebang in the man page
and the skeleton file (see #913247 as related bug report), which should
be investigated.
