Politics and TS Rights

• DfEE Consultation Paper The Department for Education and Employment recently drafted a set of proposals supposedly to implement the European Court's finding that the Sex Discrimination Act applies in cases of sex reassignment. The proposed legislation is badly flawed and would be very harmful to TS rights if implemented. This article contains the DfEE's proposals, plus the Looking Glass Society's paragraph-by-paragraph critique of it, which was submitted to the DfEE before the consultation period ended.
