Policies
By entering the workshop you agree to the policies in this document.
If you are not prepared to abide by them, please do not enter.
General
- 1. Be sensible
- For instance don't get the venue in trouble, don't hold the DM or
anyone else associated with the workshop liable for the activities of
others, act appropriately for a rope bondage peer workshop.
- 2. Be considerate
- That means (among other things) don't touch other people or their
stuff, without their consent.
- 3. If there is a problem, let the Duty Monitor (DM) know.
- The DM is the one with The Hat. Conversly, if the DM requests
your brief attention, your cooperation is appreciated.
Photography
- No photography without the consent of the photographed.
- No photography outside the photography area without the
consent and close presence of the DM.
- Wearing a Green name badge indicates consent.
- Wearing a Yellow name badge means consent must be
obtained each time prior to photographing
- Wearing a Red name badge means "Don't even bother asking".
In other words, if you want someone to take a photo of you, go to the
photography area, make sure the camera is pointing into the area not
out of it, make sure if there is anyone besides yourself in the shot
(even just their back or foot) that they are wearing a Green badge
or you have obtained their explicit consent, then snap away.
If you are in suspension or are other wise unable to reach the
photography area, and want a photo, have the DM fetched, persuade
the DM that you are utterly unable to reach the photo area. If and
only if the DM is satisfied that a safe photo can be taken, then you
may take the shot.
If you see ANYONE outside the photography area using a camera and the
DM is not standing RIGHT NEXT TO THEM, let the DM know IMMEDIATELY.
If you are found to be in such a situation, you hereby consent to be
ejected from the event at high speed, minus all photographic equipment
which you hereby donate to be auctioned off (blanked) for SM Pride.
Thank you to everyone who has contributed to reaching this consensus.
