W.B. Yeats: copyright situation

Several people have asked about the copyright status of Yeats works. The agents for the Yeats estate are A.P. Watt. The contact person there is apparently
Linda Shaughnessy

If you are intending to make commercial use of Yeats' works, you should seek permission from the agents.

My collection of Yeats poems were published during the period in which they were out of UK copyright. They returned to copyright in the mid-90s and, in the present state of UK law, they will be in copyright until 2009. I cannot give advice about dealing with the estate, as I've never had to!
